In younger days of learned sportsmanlike conduct, and heavy breathing scheming nights, I worked my butt off to participate well in competitive dancing in the Latin Division of the National DanceSport Federation. It was great fun with my partner, a young man from Brazil, and we did win our share of district and regional competitions. In the tough competitions the task of the female partner is to keep the eyes of the judges on her to earn points, The task of the male is to show her off by making her available to the eyes of the judges.
